WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Being a women, God has given us great responsibility! To be in the obedience of the Almighty, to run a family, caring for other sisters and spreading the word of God to others.

So what does it mean to be a Woman of God? How can we be humble and empowered at the same time? How can we build each other up and honour God through our lives and families?

These vital questions are what the Women's Ministry Team strives to address as we lead women in our church and the community into a closer relationship with God, our families and each other.

Our Women's Ministry(WM) Team has spent a season of deep prayer, vision-casting and seeking the Lord as we reflect upon Titus 2:3-5 "...women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious, gossips, nor enslaved to much wine. Teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored."

That's a TALL ORDER! But not impossible. When we gather as women and desire to become our highest selves, amazing things can happen! Especially when we do it alongside others.

At HHS, the Women's Ministry Team considers it our privilege and duty to offer support, edification, growth and challenges to our sisters in the pews and those beyond our building.
